King George V Pub - Let us know what you think

The former King George V pub on Bristol Road South in Northfield is a striking Grade II-listed building, erected in 1935 in the distinctive Jacobean Domestic Revival style. Designed by John Burgess Surman, its architecture, with gabled wings, mullioned windows, and ornate interior detailing, makes it a notable local landmark. Over the decades, the building has evolved alongside Northfield’s community, including hosting a bowling club, various restaurants, and serving as a symbol of local heritage and social life in the immediate area.

Currently disused and having seen several unsuccessful redevelopment proposals, we want to know what residents think about the site and the wider area. Help us make sure your voice is heard by filling in this survey today.

Future of the King George V Pub

(e.g., safer streets, cleaner environment, better transport, community facilities, support for local businesses)
