Save Yardley Wood & Druids Heath Libraries!

Disappointingly the Birmingham Labour-run City Council have announced that 25 out of 36 libraries across the city will be closed this year. The Labour Council are proposing this having effectively bankrupted the City Council through mismanagement of the city’s finances.

Our local libraries are vital community hubs, used by tens of thousands of residents locally.  As safe, trusted, and accessible spaces at the heart of local communities, their value also goes well beyond the issuing of books.

That is why I have launched a campaign to save the two libraries most used by my constituents.

You can back my campaign to keep Yardley Wood & Druids Heath libraries open by signing the petition below!

-Cllr Adam Higgs
