Let's catch these mindless vandals

Mindless vandals have painted over an attractive mural in Stirchley Park with silver paint.

Yobs painted over the images depicting the last tram in the area, the Eccles caravan factory and the Cadbury chocolate family.

These murals have had some success in deterring the usual graffiti that plagues this secluded park area at the back of Stirchley.

Police are now investigating CCTV footage from local shops in a bid to catch the perpetrators who struck last night.

The silver paint clearly came from a spray can and must have taken the perpetrators quite a while to do as well as quite a lot of paint.

If anyone saw or heard anything, or have any suspicions then please contact the police or even drop us an email: [email protected]
