Our 6 Point Plan

Birmingham City Council has been effectively bankrupted, and residents have faced a double whammy of higher Council Tax (over 18% in 2 years) for fewer services. While the Birmingham Bin Strike, Labour's 3rd Bin Strike since 2017, has gone on for over a year and recycling rates have collapsed as the Council stopped collecting recycling and garden waste.

Now this means residents are facing fortnightly bin collections, less street cleaning, increased charges, plans to build on much-needed green spaces and more under the Labour-run City Council’s current plans.

Residents of Birmingham deserve better from the City Council.

We are passionate about improving the City! That why we've published our six-point plan (below) to help make Birmingham clean again and get the Council working for residents once more.

Should the City Council keep weekly bin collections and clean up the streets?
Do you think the Council should fix the potholes and broken pavements across the City?
Do you think the Council should clampdown on badly run HMO’s and exempt accommodation in our area?
Do you think our vital green spaces and parks should be protected from being built on and enhanced?
Do you think the Council needs to do more to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour locally?
Do you agree the City Council must balance the budget by fixing its botched IT rollout and Equal Pay mess.
Birmingham Labour have put up Council tax by over 18% in the last two years. Reform run Worcestershire County Council are consulting on a 10% Council Tax rise. Do you think the Council should keep Council tax lower?
Generally speaking, which party would you rather have running Birmingham City Council?
